About Us

The Crown at Llay is a newly developed Two for One pub restaurant situated on the A541 road between Chester and Wrexham. It has been a local’s pub for many years and part of a community located on a crossroads on the village of Llay. This is a busy thoroughfare and is easily accessible with extensive car parking. It is the perfect place to eat and drink, with the interior of the pub offering a relaxing and comfortable place to dine. We have a large landscape garden area and offer alfresco dining. Perfect for families, there is a large children’s play area to keep the kids entertained whilst the adults can relax, great on those sunny days!
Following on from the redevelopment of the business, we serve great pub food with an extensive specials board that offers Chef’s recommended dishes, Catch of the Day and regional specials daily.
As a quality local we also offer a wide range of international lagers and a great selection of cask ales from Britain’s no.1 regional brewer. There’s no need to book, just turn up. We’re in a great location and are perfect for families and gatherings of any size. Offering table service you will be greeted at the door and no request is too much trouble!
